School of Podcasting Congrats
This week I was surprised by a congratulatory note from my podcast coach, Dave Jackson from the School of Podcasting. He informed me that I had made it to one of the top three spots in iTunes for my podcast category.
This was a big deal because a lot of what got me there I learned by listening to Dave and the people he is connected to. The School of Podcasting Rocks! I’ve been listening to it since 2007. In 2012, I got the chance to meet him at Blog World (now New Media Expo) in NYC. Personally, that was a highlight for me. Dave is a humble guy so I know these accolades are killing him. (smile)
Podcasting has given me the opportunity to live my dreams, be seen as an expert, entertain friends, share wisdom and talk guns, God, and good stuff with people I like. My show is a variety show like you might hear on late night. As a result of my success I have sponsors, get hundreds of emails a month, and got to audition for two shows on TV last summer.
I am now building my own network of bloggers, and podcasters, while preparing to produce my own TV show. Love you man.
