The Black Man With A Gun blog on kennblanchard.com is the result of being online since 1999. It is the accumulation of thought, knowledge, failures and whimsy.

 This is the blog of a mature, world traveled, people loving, married father, Christian pastor, pro-gun activist, former US Marine, federal law enforcement lieutenant, firearms trainer, and executive protection specialist.

 Here you will see the personal side of gun owners. You will be introduced to products and people you may want to know. You will be exposed to trivia, pop culture, history, politics and the gun community free from negativity.

 There is a weekly podcast called The Urban Shooter that is also attached to this site. It follows this same path, to educate, to encourage and to enlighten. You don’t have to be “urban,” or a gun owner to enjoy the show.

 This blog is a niche but is graciously supported by a few faithful listeners of the podcast, and sponsors.
