After Halloween

Mexican Memorial Day

Now that Halloween candy is on clearance and will show up at work on Monday, I had a few thoughts about the day known as  Dias Los Muertes. I saw a oddly yet beautifully decorated bleached skull in a cigar lounge and remembered I had seen it before somewhere in Latin America. After most of us are recouping from sugar poisoning, a night of revalry or not today is a festive day south of the border in Mexico. There they celebrate a day of remembering loved ones that have died in a good way.

Life is good.

Here is a great video to say it even better.

Treat each day as if it were your last. Don’t waste your time. its the most precious thing we have. You can’t save it, store it or make it. Don’t wait till you lose someone to realize how important they were to you
